How Service Status works

What the Help Centre checks and how to interpret Operational, Restricted, and Unavailable states.

The Service Status page performs lightweight server-side checks against selected heyreid.me services when status information is requested.

Status meanings

Operational — the public service returned an expected successful or redirect response.
Restricted — the service returned its expected restricted page or sign-in page. Restricted access is not an outage.
Unavailable — the check failed or returned an unexpected server error.

Status checks are a simple availability indicator, not a guarantee that every feature of a service is working.
